| 1971 FORD F-100 Serial # 21944 Purchase date: 08/19/2008 Stats: Years built: 1971 Status: Under restoration Brief history: We purchased this truck from a nice gentleman in the Monroe, NC area. The truck is a 390 c.i. with Auto Trans, Power Steering, and Power Brakes with disc brakes conversion. The engine bay was cleaned and sanded. A fresh coat of black enamel was applied. It has a coating of pollen on it already from sitting outside the shop which we'll clean up when it comes back inside. The original 390 was removed to freshen it up. The engine was cleaned and painted. All new gaskets were installed from Mr. Gasket. Ford Racing chromed valve covers were installed. Engine was then re-installed into the truck. |
